It's a little shocking, to be honest, and she would have welcomed him in regardless but for that moment she's on autopilot almost. She steers them for the door without hesitation, wanting more than ever to get out of this place before she burns it the fuck down.
Jesus isn't someone she has to worry about physically taking care of himself usually, so the marks tell her he must not have been able to and the first thing she does when they're outside is grab for his hands to get a look at his wrists.
"A Dominant wanted to know how I broke the guard's arm. I wouldn't tell him." His wrists are bruised but only at the forearms, defensive places. "He wasn't impressed with my passive resistance. I let him take it out on me a while." Let him do anything he wanted. "Then he dropped me off when he was done."
He tries to get her to look at him and not the bruises. "I'm okay. It was just a rough night. I got what I needed."
Rosita doesn't get emotional over minor injuries; none of them have the mental real estate for that anymore, not for anything less than a bite. But for a moment she does consider asking Jesus what the man's name was, what he looked like.
Then she looks up into his face and she doesn't. She also doesn't believe he's telling her the whole story, but that's who they are. If he wants to keep the details to himself, Rosita will make space for him to do that.
"Alright," she says, even though it's not. "Let's go get you cleaned up."
