He laughs. "My inmate watches bad movies all the time, and I saw another warden watching cooking shows. The Admiral must have some kind of magic cable connection. What did you binge on? Talk shows? Reality TV?"

A small smile, almost wistful.

"Judge Judy."

"I knew someone who was on that show once," he chuckles. "He was...kind of an idiot."

So. He'll find them some Judge Judy for tonight.

"Pretty sure it's a prerequisite for being on," she points out.

"I have most of 'em memorized. I used to play it while I was studying." She probably remembers the case.

"He kept letting the neighbor's dog out of the yard because it kept barking while he was playing video games. The neighbor got pissed and destroyed his satellite dish. So he kidnapped the dog." It was very stupid.
